Rookie Lead Ingot Casting

Some of you know that I recently resumed reloading metallic cartridges after a 25 year break (during the interim, I’ve focused on loading 12 gauge shot shells for bird hunting, Trap and Skeet shooting). Back in the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s, reloading components were so inexpensive that I never saw the need to cast my own bullets. Now, prices are so high that volume shooting almost demands we cast our own bullets.  In this video, I attempt to process lead ingots for the first time.
