Hi-Point C9 Disassembly and Barrel Slugging

I field strip and disassemble my Hi-Point C9, and then slug the barrel so that I can properly size my cast bullets.

My first handgun was a Jimenez JA9, cheaper than a HiPoint, a descendant of the Ring Of Fire guns. The workings look similar in operation, the HiPoint has a more reassuring safety than the Jimenez. I believe the first piece you put back in was the striker block drop safety which the Jimenez does not have. The few times I carried it was with an empty chamber. Measure the depth of the groove and add that back to the measurement you got on your slug.
