Whether it’s cooking or reloading, recipes save time and wasted materials, and make our results more consistent.
Now as to cooking, I learned most of my cooking from Grandma, she didn’t measure much of anything, just eye-balled the amounts as she pitched them in a pot. It drives my wife crazy when I help her cook at holidays. She has little containers all over the counter of ingredients precisely measured out, mixed together at the right moment. I have a bowl that I’m tossing pinches and dashes into. She’s yelling, “What are you doing?”, and I’m like, “What?!? Cooking….and you?”.

I don’t particularly enjoy cooking, but I do manage to try and figure out a way to use as many kitchen instruments as possible with my lead casting hobby 😀

At the time, I was just plinking .22LR with my kids, and had no thought of reloading (that came a bit later on). Years later, I GET that; particularly since I bought a couple of 7.62×25 firearms, and factory ammo is hard to find and expensive, and recipes for that caliber aren’t as easy as, say, for 230 grain ball .45 ACP.… Read more »

I love your videos. You remind me of my dad. He saw things the same way. I can only imagine what he would have to say about the gender identity issue. I can assure you it has a lot of swearing in it. I would feel the same way as he did. He raised me to be a real man. Open the door for a woman. Help out in the kitchen though. My grandma would say different. He words would be get out of my kitchen. I don’t go in your work shop you don’t go in mine and wash… Read more »
