224 Valkyrie with 53g Vmax, any good for Varmints? Scope footage!

Is the 224 Valkyrie any good for varmint hunting? I find out in this video when I take a trip to Wyoming to do some pest control for a farm. The video starts with a rundown of my 224 Valkyrie Rifle build and components, followed by varmint hunting and I close it out with some 224 Valkyrie reloading data and components.

The rifle is a Uintah Precision UPR-15 Bolt Action upper chambered in 224 Valkyrie it has a 22” barrel with a 1:7 twist.

The camera mount is a Nexus Outdoors Nexus U-Mount. It can be used as a scope camera, third person view or selfie to record videos and take pictures with. Give others a chance to experience your shot first hand just as it happened in real life.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say “it works” for varmints. If you hit them it seems extremely effective!
