Springfield longslide 45 Super: Underwood 45 Super Chronographed

I could not pass up a rather rare opportunity to spend time on the range with a some what rare 1911 in the Springfield Armory 45 Super. This 1911 according to Springfield Armory was produced in Feb of 2000. It left the factory with two recoil springs a 16lb and 18.5lb the heavier for the 45 Super ammunition. These model were produced from the late 90’s through the early 2000’s.
