I just loaded some Arsenal 155gr fp up today with Unique. Started out at 3.2 gr just to check for pressure. Using them in an old Ruger P89, which is rated at +p and built like a brick. Figured the worst that might happen is the bullet getting stuck in the barrel. This works out I’ll start trying 800x powder since it seems to have lower pressure for the same velocity and charge weights.

I’m interested! When you start shooting, could you give some indication of perceived recoil with the heavies? I’m just curious as my experience with my similarly sized, albeit polymer, Baby Desert Eagle CZ variant is that with 147 gr FN Berry’s projectiles the recoil is more of a nice push than the snap as with 115 gr Hornady Action Pistol; both with middle of the road CFE Pistol data.
