Eastwood’s Copper Vein Powder Coat

Eastwood ran a deal for free shipping over Valentines Day so I decided to stock up on my reliable colors and try out a new one called Copper Vein. My results were very pleasant, and I have to give a shout out to Reloader762 for verifying after I bought it that it was a good powder for bullet coating. He made some great looking rifle bullets with this powder!

Nice looking bullets – and when you size ’em, there won’t be any roughness during the seating operations… Good shootin’ to ya, Steve

nice powder. If I did not already have enough for a life time already I would order some more from eastwood.

Those are really cool. Just curious, are you loading 9 mm? Did you resize the bullets? I’d like to see your setup sometime.

I have used the copper vein. I used the shake and bake method and really like it. it coated well and looks super. I used it on 30 cal, 223, and 38. all coated well.

That’s a perfect coating thickness too. I like those UN boolits there.

I’ve said it before on YT and I will say it again here. Those are some nice looking bullets. I really do like that color. I will have to keep that in mind when I get around to start casting bullets..
