Accurate Mould 45-200E

Creeker | April 26th, 2019

The bullet from this mould is listed on the Accurate site as the mould maker’s favorite. Considering his expertise in the business I decided to try the 45-200E bullet. I’ve not been disappointed. I won’t list it as the most accurate but plenty so for field/truck carry. My first concern was its feeding so the initial test was for function. Here’s a short video of that test. Hope you enjoy……..Creeker

Would this bullet work for 45 Colt/Long Colt ? The flat nose would be good for my 45 Colt Henry Big Boy if so.

I might have to look for that mold. I shoot 200gr bullets almost exclusively in my Kimber stainless target II. 185gr don’t have enough bearing surface for accuracy, and 230gr seem to drop too much. I’ve been using the Lee 200gr rnfp mold for about 12 years, and have been satisfied, but I like the shape of that boolit.
Hopefully you’ll love your Kimber as much as I love mine. Finest piece of shooting iron I’ve had the pleasure to operate

Excellent video, Creeker. That is a gorgeous handgun and some good looking bullets. I always enjoy your videos ? Looking forward to see how they group.
