Bear Creek Arsenal .458 SOCOM Part 3 – Will it run?

Buffalo's Outdoors | May 3rd, 2019

After sighting in the BCA .458 socom and having some cycling/short stroking issues I decided to try to get it running with this simple fix.

If you shop at Optics Planet code “Buffalo” will get you 5% off most items with a few exceptions. Vortex optics are one of those exceptions, for Vortex products you must use code “BuffaloVortex” to get the discount.

Just in the event I find myself in the same situation, do you feel accuracy is the same as before enlarging the gas port? I was of the impression that the ports were drilled before the barrels are lapped so there would be no drill burrs at the port hole.
Not questioning your method, I took a die grinder to the feed ramps of a Faxon 7.62×39 AR barrel awhile back to make it feed reliably.
