The old girl still shoots
Shooter, caster, handloader
Good groups 👍 I shot some of my loads out of my Romanian M44 with that 312 155 mold and some S&B today to get some brass, gonna work up some with 4831sc and some shooters world powder
I use that 312-155 in 2 Mosins at .312 and size down to 309 for the 300 blk .
Gotta love the multi purpose bullet molds 👍
Yes sir, that old girl can still dance! I didn’t know that you could free-float a Mosin barrel/stock. See? I learn something every time I watch your videos! Maybe some day I’ll be able to talk my Brother out of the Mosin he inherited from our Dad. I really don’t want to go pay $300 for one, when it wasn’t that long ago that they were selling for $100! Thanks James
It is trickier with the upper handguard to free float the stock but is possible .
Mr. Pollard you nailed it on the old girl. I have 2 of these carbines. I call them that since they are shorter but they are snapshots of time. Great video.
Most of those old battle rifles will shoot for days with a good handload. Just wish you could still find them for the prices they used to be. I can remember them sitting in trashcans with price tags attached to the trigger guards. $35 Now you are lucky if you find one for $250 and those have serious problems.
Too bad those days are gone .
Need to get mine out since I put the scope on it. Sighted it in and put it back in the safe. Just put that mold on my list for next week.
Ed Harris designed that mold for Lee . It was mainly for the 7.62 x 39 but works well in the x54r .
