.44 Magnum 100 yard water test (240 gr XTP)

The Smith & Wesson Performance Center .44 Magnum Hunter 629-7 is a revolver that you guys have seen many times on my channel. Today I use it to launch a 240 grain Hornady XTP at about 1,400 fps into a row of water jugs 100 yards away.

100 yards off hand with a revolver, nice shooting and that XTP looks very good also !

That has been an elusive round to catch for many folks. Good job & fine shooting…I’d hate to think my life depended on hitting a jug at 100 yards with a handgun…that’s no small feat and a good challenge for the community too.
