Aslo after 25 years of calibrating electronic equipment for a living. I did find test scale 50g calibration weight are under 2 to 4 grains.
One weight I added 3.5gr of solder around the top rim of the calibration weight to achieve 50.000 grams. Once I did this after scale calibration. Every Lyman weight and weight combination reads dead nuts.

I hope this makes sense. I am kind of a calibration dork. I have gage blocks and regularly verify my caliper too….😂

I use a lyman weight set to verify my old woaw and my frankford intellidropper often. Also noting the – reading of my pan to watch for drift helps as well.

The longer it was on the more it drifted…but like you said (maybe) “It’ll be fine.”
