44 Spl, Penta Hollow Point, BHN 8.7, Bare Gel (PC HP Test)

Shooting the 44 Special cast with the penta hollow point, 1:25 alloy with a BHN of 8.7 into Clear Ballistics Gel from my Charter Arms Bulldog. This series is a long experiment testing powder coated cast lead hollow point bullets made from various alloys and fired at various velocities.

I have the same one and it is also my Favorite Mould. If you have a .44 Mag Rifle you also might try the 429244 Mihec Clone which has the same options as this mould. It is a Gas Checked Boolit and I run them as fast as 1800 fps from a Marlin 1894 24″ rifle. Very accurate and will knock down anything in N/A. I shoot Cowboy… Read more »

Very cool! Thanks for another great video! I see the bacon back round under the information and all I can think of is a well balanced breakfast. You know like bacon with a side of bacon and for dessert some bacon. Washing it all down with some good strong coffee. (Black) 👍😁
