Anyone using those R.I.P. rounds for a self defense bullet is just ridiculous. Sorry… no one can ever convince me they ask ingredients a legitimate bullet.
I believe it was Federal was the one who shows that any bullet moving slower than 2000fps is not enough to cause the consistency in damage to down a target. Yes a .22 will drop someone… buy to do it consistently it will not.
A .454 Casull has been used to hunt Elephant and it is a 300grain bullet going 1600fps. A shotgun 1oz slug is going 1600fps as well and trust me either one of these two though well below 2000fps will end the threat immediately!
One of the nice things about the gel is that it gives us a consistent medium which makes comparison easier. The meat target is great but the meat tissue in that is different than the tissue of a live animal unless the meat was harvested within the last 10 or 15 minutes. No two real life scenarios are the same. It’s all a bit of a guessing game, but with various tools and means we can make it a far more educated guess. .380 vs 12 gauge? Hahahaha Great video as always brother, and nice coffee cup!
I love that coffee cup! I appreciate all you do and one day I will somehow find a way to return the favor for all the things you have done for me! God bless you and yours my friend 🙂
