Light Weight Coated Cast Subsonic 300BLK Rounds (Bunny Farts)

In this video, I show how I make some light weight coated cast bullets for my break action 300 blk firearms. These suppress really well and are a hoot to shoot. This video was recently deleted from my Youtube channel because it had casting/reloading content. I’ve uploaded it to Vimeo so that it will still exist.

Hey Mike, I think I enjoyed this video more the second time than I did the first 🙂

I have the lee mold you were talking about it works well in a single shot but I found it did not work well when I loaded them a little hotter and tryed to cycle them in my ar. They would nose dive, because I could not get them long enough. That mold works excellent for the 30 carbine. Great video! Thanks!

I have reloaded for years, but just getting into casting my own. Just placed an order with NOE; however, I didn’t see this mould on the site. I assume its a custom mould? How do I get one? Thanks man, awesome video! Cant wait to make my own bullets!!

If you want a single shot in a AR platform just get a adjustable gas block and turn it off where it doesn’t cycle. You can also put a barrel on it with no gas port .This works really good with side charging handle.I have a 450 BM like this.It functions like a bolt action.

Hey, Mike – great work with these subsonics, and nice video as usual… I wish we could have suppressors in CA (plain flat out illegal except for LE and military), but it’ll be a very cold day of climate before that ever happens – they are evi. Enjoy those great freedoms of yourn…Best to ya, Steve

Those are amazingly accurate also! Another super cool video. That harvester is definitely a suppressor on my list

I think that is the same mould I use for my 30 Carbine (Mine is a gas checked mould) those are going 1950 fps so need the gas check. I have a bunch casted ahead but they are all gas checked so I will have to pour some more and leave the gas checks off and see how they fly.
Thanks for the video !

Those look really similar to the old Lyman 3118 bullet that was used in the 32-20. Love to be able to take a day and go shooting at a place like that!
