MRAD 6.5 CREEDMOOR HOLIDAY SHOOT
As much negative press and pressure there is on the 2nd Amendment, it seems major journalism is embarrassed to even call shooting a sport, let alone announce there are people that are law abiding and enjoy it.
It can be very exciting to introduce new shooters to our sport, even better extending your shooting circle while gaining more friends. This enhances the camaraderie and makes for more of an enjoyable experience.
Be aware though that it can quickly turn into a friendly competition of who can shoot the tightest group. We had all of this going on today on the range. We introduced a new shooter to his new Ruger 10/22 on the 50 yard line and he even got to shoot 6.5 Creedmoor suppressed from a Ruger PRC. But the highlight of the day was watching the smile on his face when feeling the trigger on an MRAD Barrett. Though I must admit I was extremely pleased myself with the MRAD.
Having exited the military, without these group of friends I do not know if I would have ever been able to fire an MRAD Barrett. Today was absolutely amazing with a great bunch of friends.
Here are a few pictures of the awesome rifles.

I decided to finish of my day with some 223 at the same range, 200 yards.
