I know what you mean about buying a shotgun that “Speaks to you”. Many years ago, I made a compulsive purchase of a used Orvis Waterfowler, which was custom built by Orvis on a Beretta 686 barreled action. It was the most beautiful shotgun I’d ever handled. Turns out that it didn’t fit properly so I ultimately sold it.

My primary skeet gun is a Beretta Silver Pigeon 686 Skeet with fixed chokes. Have been shooting it since the 90’s. Still locks up solidly.

Enjoyed this video very much. Thanks!

Beautiful gun, Buffalo! There’s a lot of innovation with that shotgun. I think that Beretta has a great program for them separating the barrels. That would definitely help reduce barrel weight; one of the ways to measure swing. Nice shooting!

My first shotgun was a bolt action 16 gauge and was able to push 9 rounds through it in under two minutes and that was loading the last 6 one at a time
