I bought the entire upper from Bear Creek Arsenal, 20″ S.S. straight fluted heavy barrel. The first upper had rough chamber, but BCA was very responsive in sending a replacement. This one has approximately 400 rounds through it, and is performing great. The Hornady 123gr ELD-M is good for zeroing the scope and getting the bore broken in. I’ve found my best load to be the 129gr SST over H4895. Around 2500fps works with the winds that I deal with. So far I’ve only had them to 400 yards, and predictable. Nice upper and lower receivers. Good overview of your parts. I use those Hornady custom grade dies with the micro stem as well.. for the money they’ve done well by me.. in fact, I’ve switched all my rifle dies over to them. 5 all together..hopefully the bca barrel will do good for you.. I’ve heard good and bad with them.. totally shocked they sent out a bcg not staked..I use all CPD mags for my grendel and 7.62×39.. they just work..
