Powder Coating Freedom Seeds Using An Electrostatic Gun
i used to PC this way. i switched to the shake and bake method, which is faster, especially if the bullet is plain based. even with the gas check designs, it’s faster. accuracy is equivalent, too, and VERY little powder loss.
It would be interesting to see if there’s a difference in coating the bases, and leaving them exposed, with accuracy and barrel leading, Andy. I don’t know if I’ll spend the money for a sprayer, but your HF black came out nice.
You should see how good they come out when you use a good powder. As for the lead base – lubed bullets have nothing on the base and we shoot them all the time so I feel there should be no issue. Rifle bullets at high velocity most use gas checks. So I think with pistol bullets there will be no issue. Which alows you to sand up bullets on their bases and get a great looking bullet.
