In this video we validate our accuracy node since our barrel has worn since we originally developed our load. The barrel has ~2800 rounds through it and the distance to the lands has increased by about .030".
Months of work have paid off, and the 6.5 Creedmoor Savage 12FV is ready for its ultimate challenge: landing hits at 1 mile. Today's long range challenge includes two other 6.5 Creedmoor rifles as well: The CMMG Endeavor 300 and the Savage Stealth Evolution.
In this video we test the 153gr Hornady A-TIP in the Ruger Precision Rifle and the Thompson Center compass chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Both barrels are 1-8 twist and we want to make sure that these stabilize in the rifles before formal load test begins.
